Science Week in IMDEA Energy (Region of Madrid) - 3 - 12 November 2015

Its main objective is to make science and technology more accessible to the general public. It actually takes place over two weeks in November, and includes over 500 activities in the Region of Madrid: open days, film series, workshops, exhibitions, conferences, guided tours, excursions, etc.

During the Science week, IMDEA Energy organized three scientific workshops about renewable energies called “Towards Zero Emissions” and a guided tour to the pilot plants and labs of the Institute. The programme aimed to facilitate awareness among the high school students of a wide variety of today’s scientific issues and the latest advances in microalgae use in renewable energies.
